February 10, 2022 was African American Protocol Day in the Arizona Legislature. This is a day when leaders from the African American community statewide come to the Legislature to educate us.

In honor of Black History Month, I told the Story of the Underground Railroad & the Oberlin Rescuers. Given the current furry over critical race theory and what is taught in public schools, will this story about a valiant little village that defied the federal government and smuggled escaped slaves to freedom be taught in school in the future?
